In 1992 Weekly World News released this story about a bat boy being found in a cave it became one of their best selling issue.

Story from Weekly World News about a gigantic monarch butterfly. Story is about a 6 foot butterfly that was apparently brought down by a farmer.

3. RUSSIANS SHOOT DOWN UFO
Story ran in Weekly World News in September 1992. Complete with a big picture of a shiny UFO wedged into the grass.
